Working together

A place to think out loud.

A decision, a recurring difficulty, or something you have not had room to say. I offer attention, honest questions, and time to work through it with another person.

Start with a message

Tell me what brought you here and what you would like to think through together. I read every introduction myself. If there seems to be a fit, I’ll invite you to a free first call and send a private link to choose a time.

A few sentences are enough. You do not need to prepare a personal history or choose a framework. A written introduction does not guarantee a call or an engagement.

People bring questions about career transition, academic to consulting or corporate transition, technical expert to leader roles, workplace boundaries, professional communication, parenting and identity shifts, newcomer transition, and cross-cultural transition. The question can belong to several parts of life at once.

What the first call is for

The free first call gives us a chance to talk about what brought you here and get a feel for thinking together. You can ask questions, say what you need, and notice whether you feel comfortable talking with me. I consider whether I can be useful. We do not have to resolve everything or decide to continue.

Both of us decide

It starts before we meet. You tell me what brought you here, and I read your message personally. If there seems to be a fit, I’ll reply with an invitation to a free first call and a private link to choose an available time. You need to feel able to think out loud with me. I need to believe I can be useful. We begin exploring that in writing and continue when we meet. Not every introduction becomes a call or an engagement, and either of us can decide to stop.

A scope that fits the question

After we have met and established mutual fit, if we both want to continue, I prepare a written scope and quote. It describes the work proposed and the fee before you make any paid commitment. Useful lenses are discussed together; Human Design remains optional.

What we do in our sessions

We return to the questions that matter to you. Together, we can look at a situation, notice what it asks of you, and explore whether your response fits your values and capacity. You might choose a small change or practise stating a boundary. At the next conversation, we return to what happened: what helped, what felt difficult, and what you want to adjust.

Several sessions give us continuity: time to notice patterns across experiences, see what restores or drains you, and learn from the changes you try. I bring listening, structure, and challenge. You retain authority over your choices, including the pace and what you want to explore.

Mentoring in practice

“When things got difficult—a client pushing back, a project going sideways—he was the sounding board I could think out loud with, and I always came away clearer on what to do.”

— KJR, New York, USA

Reflection, values + career

“I would highly recommend Onur as a mentor for his genuine empathy and ability to create a space for meaningful self-reflection. He helped me better understand my own experiences, strengths, and career aspirations, while the Human Design session gave me a new perspective on how I approach and interpret everyday situations. The Core Values mapping exercise was also very helpful in clarifying what matters most to me and how my values connect with my career pathway. I am truly grateful for his support and for our insightful conversations.”

— SD, Toronto, CA

How the work ends

Working together over around 4–6 sessions gives us time to return to your questions, notice recurring patterns, and try changes between conversations. That might mean working through a decision, understanding a conflict, or practising a clearer boundary. Some questions need less time. After we have met and established mutual fit, I prepare a written scope and quote for the work we actually intend to do. You see both before making a paid commitment. The aim is for you to keep observing and experimenting with greater confidence in your own judgment. We agree what we are working toward, review what is becoming clearer, and bring the work to an end.

From thought to action

“Onur’s unique mix of coaching, mentoring and divergent thinking challenged my assumptions, opened up new possibilities, and helped me turn ideas into practical next steps.”

— AZ, Calgary, CA

A clear scope

This is coaching/mentorship and reflective systems work — not psychotherapy, medical care, psychological diagnosis, legal advice, or engineering services.

When a need falls outside this work, we discuss that boundary and the possibility of a more appropriate professional.
